The Clean Missouri coalition today unveiled a long, bipartisan list of public opponents to Amendment 3 to mark the 100 days until voters deliver a second mandate for fair maps in a statewide vote — 100 community leaders, 100 organizations, and 100 faith leaders all encouraging Missourians to vote NO on Amendment 3.
The extreme, discriminatory and anti-democratic details in the fine print of politicians’ Amendment 3 proposal continue to drive Missourians to stand up in opposition. The coalition coming together to defeat Amendment 3 in 2020 is even larger than the coalition that passed nonpartisan redistricting reforms in 2018.

The fair map rules in the Missouri Constitution were overwhelmingly approved by voters two years ago. But politicians in Jefferson City have proposed a new constitutional amendment to replace all of those nonpartisan reforms with an unprecedented map-rigging scheme. To distract voters from their real goal, state politicians are proposing a $5 change to lobbyist gift limits and a $100 change to contribution limits for state senate candidates.
